A rustic refuge and the warm home of High Mountain Guide Pierre-Olivier Bagnoud, it will amaze you for its extraordinary setting. Access to this legendary cabin has to be earned! Only after a long hike or a cable-car ride will you be able to discover this gem, perched at an altitude of 2,208 metres. In winter, this white paradise is simply breathtaking. In summer, it is surprising for its luxuriant colours. Though the experience would fall flat without the mountain cuisine and specialities from Le Valais signed Franck Reynaud: a 3-storey “crust” with cheese, stir-fried beef with balsamic vinegar, “rösti”, “fondue”, dried meat, veal hamburger…

Franck Reynaud and his partner Pierre-Olivier Bagnoud enjoy setting off on an adventure with you: hiking, paragliding, ski touring, snowshoes, heli-ski… They never miss the chance to see that you discover the fabulous panoramic views around the Cabane des Violettes.
