What is the special feature of Le Pas de l’Ours?
It is a small structure that has succeeded in preserving the past by bringing it into the present. As soon as you step inside our doors, you know where you are: you feel the spirit of the mountains, peacefulness and serenity.
What are your ambitions for your hotel Le Pas de l’Ours?
I want to maintain the stylishness of this hotel where visitors feel very much at home. But also to retain our authentic mountain spirit.
Where do you find inspiration for your projects?
I have learnt how to project myself into different worlds. And even if I don't especially like a decor or ambiance, I manage to seize the nuances and history that it portrays. Each time I travel, I therefore note subtleties, that give me fresh ideas.
For you, the most important thing for Le Pas de L'Ours to maintain its prestige as a Relais & Château is…
The authenticity and the experience we offer each guest. Together with the special relationships we set up with our clientele. Which is achieved by attentiveness, the cuisine, our welcome, and relationships. It means creating constant well-being by always anticipating their requirements.
You have just re-opened L'Aïda after 7 years of renovation work. How did you re-think this hotel?
I wanted a common thread revolving around the spa and an atmosphere trendy and soothing. You will find a spectacular entrance to the indoor pool, lots of little areas with different ambiances, especially around the bar or on the terrace level.
